Common failures of circulating water vacuum pumps

Common failures of circulating water vacuum pumps

A circulating water vacuum pump is a widely used device in laboratories and industry, mainly used to provide a vacuum environment. It maintains the cooling and sealing properties of the pump through water circulation.Failure often affects the accuracy of the experimental data, such as understanding the true principle of the pump, you can judge the cause of the failure, but also to do their own maintenance.Avoid the time to find maintenance personnel, you can quickly carry out experiments.

1、The vacuum pump has been used for more than a year and it is normal, but now the cooling speed seems to be getting slower and slower, which is more and more obvious when the temperature is higher?

A:The use of circulating water vacuum pump is very simple, but regular maintenance work can not be ignored. There are a lot of faults that seem to be caused by regular maintenance.

Circulating water own electric power and refrigerant from the load to take away the heat from the former ventilation cover from the radiator,if the former ventilation cover is full of dust and willow cotton, etc.will hinder the dissemination of these heat, refrigeration effect will be greatly reduced.Generally speaking, under normal conditions of use,the cooling capacity is reduced because the ventilation and cooling effect is too poor or the ambient temperature is too high.

2,the previous use are very normal, but now found that the noise is much larger than before, what is the reason?

A:As we all know, there is a small part of impurities in water, that is,distilled water in the water tank after adding it is not possible to*ensure that there is no impurity at all.For circulating water vacuum pump, the general temperature is set at 20℃,especially adapted to the growth and reproduction of microorganisms.

After a long time these microorganisms will clog the filter of the water circuit causing the return water to be poor, and the water pump will have a greater noise.Sometimes these microorganisms attached to the surface of the heat exchanger, resulting in poor heat transfer effect of the heat exchanger, the cooling capacity becomes smaller. Therefore,we must strictly follow the requirements of the manual to do a good job in the daily maintenance of the circulating water vacuum pump, regular cleaning of the inner tank,long-term deactivation, keep the tank dry.

3,the water cycle inside seems to have a leak, sometimes the ground for a while there are a few drops,is there a leak somewhere on the water circuit?

A:Generally speaking,in the process of normal use,the water circuit is not a leak.In the ambient temperature is relatively high relative humidity in the air is too large,in the water cycle of the water pump, water pipe joints, external water pipes are prone to condensation of dew, after accumulating more drops to the ground,do not worry about water leakage in the water circuit.

How to carry out routine maintenance of circulating water vacuum pumps?

Routine maintenance of your circulating water vacuum pump is critical to maintaining its performance and extending its service life. Here are some basic routine maintenance steps:

1.Check the water source:

Make sure the water source is clean and free of impurities and foreign matter.

Check that the water inlet pipe is smooth and free of distortion or damage.

2.Check the water tank:

Clean the water tank regularly to remove dirt and sediment from the water.

Check the water tank for cracks or leaks.

3.Check the water pump:

Ensure that the water pump is running properly without abnormal noise or vibration.

Check the sealing of the water pump and replace the seals if necessary.

4.Check the cooling system:

Check that the cooling water lines are clear and free of blockages.

Check that the cooling fan or radiator is clean and free of dust and dirt.

5.Check the electrical parts:

Check that the power cord and plug are intact and not broken.

Check the insulation of the motor to ensure that there is no short circuit or leakage.

6.Check the mechanical part of the pump:

Check that the pump bearings and rotating parts are well lubricated.

Check the pump body for cracks or leaks.

Check that the valves and connections are tight and not loose.

7.Check the vacuum level:

Regularly check the vacuum level of the pump using a vacuum gauge to ensure that it meets operating requirements.

If the vacuum level drops, the pump needs to be checked for internal leaks or damage.

8.Record and monitor:

Record the pump's operating hours, change the lubricant and check the oil quality regularly.

Monitor the pump's operating parameters, such as temperature and pressure,so that abnormalities can be detected in time.

9.Cleaning and corrosion prevention:

Periodically clean the exterior of the pump and exposed metal parts to prevent corrosion.

Protect corrosion-prone parts from rust.

10.Follow the operation manual:

Maintain and operate the pump in strict accordance with the operating manual provided by the equipment manufacturer.
